For your interaction this week, extend the examples that you see in your classmates' original posts with examples of similar elements that you saw in your own reading. You might choose to repeat one or two elements that were particularly striking from those you posted in your original post, but try, too, to find a few additional elements to add to their discussion from the texts as well.
For example, if your reader points out a particularly lovely use of narrative pacing/time from "Bliss," you might point out ANOTHER passage from that piece that does the same thing. OR you might point out a passage from "Living Like Weasels" that does the same thing in a completely different way. Be sure to include specific references to passages so that they are easy for your reader to find (i.e., type out the passages, or, if they are very long, indicate where the passages begin and end).
You don't have to add a new passage to EVERY classmate post, but try to select at least one or two to supplement with your additional examples. Then subscribe to those posts and discuss those examples with your classmate to fulfill the "engagement" piece of the discussion board requirements.
All discussion board posts should be complete by Sunday, February 15 at 11:59 p.m.
